A lot has been going on here at the 4 hounds press. We decided to move our little operation into a little shop – about 600 square feet to be exact. We’ve been looking for a space for awhile, but when we saw this we knew that it was the “one”. It needed mostly cosmetic work, so with the help of some awesome friends – we repainted, put down flooring and made a really amazing wood type display table. We are really excited to be in our own space, so if you are ever in the West Palm Beach area, please come visit us at 111 N. County Road in Palm Beach!
It’s been busy here at the shop working on wedding invitations! We’ve had some wonderful brides to work with this spring and summer. One of the many things that is great about wedding invitations is how unique they end up being for each bride. Even though a bride might contact me because of another invitation I did, hers always ends up being special and unique to her.
A couple of weeks ago, we finished this beautiful invitation suite for Rebecca & Michael. Wanting to keep with a fall theme, we designed an invitation that incorporated a wheat design inspired by her wedding ring and a red swirl that carries through to her cake design. I really like when I am able to incorporate themes from the wedding into the invitation as it gives guests a glimpse of what’s to come.
So we’ve now migrated to our primary domain and will be adding things like crazy for the next few days. We’re really trying to get everything looking great before we go to the Odd Duck Bazaar on April 9th at the Old Davie School Museum in Davie, Florida. This is one of the few shows I do each year and it’s a great way to see everything that is “hot off the press” as it were :)
We’ll be there with a couple of brand new items as well as samples of the wedding suites we’ve been working on this spring, so if you’re in the area stop by and say hi.
For now, continue to use etsy for purchases. We’re hoping to get the glitches for the ecommerce worked out in the next week.
We made a new year’s resolution to finally update our website, and to blog more often. Many visitors to the shop would tell us that we had so much merchandise that wasn’t on etsy and available for purchase, so we’ve decided to fix that. In addition we’ve been busy with custom orders and will be through the spring, so it will be nice to show everything we’ve been working on. Stay tuned!
